Walk In Clinic

The Walk-In Clinic

The Walk-In Therapy Clinic provides an option for direct access to therapy services for children and youth up to 18 years of age, and their families.  No referrals are necessary to access the Walk-In Clinic.  They provide an opportunity for individuals and/or family members to meet with trained therapists for a therapeutic conversation and immediate problem-solving at their chosen moment of need.  While for many people a single session of therapy is sufficient, the walk-in therapy clinics may be used more than once, and can provide connection to other services at St Clair Child & Youth Services, if required.

Referrals for infants and children (birth to 6 years)  please click here.

We encourage you to bring any support people whom you believe can be a part of the solution to the therapy session.  As well, youth may come in independently requesting therapy or consultation.  Difficulties may be new or recently emerging, or they may have been present for a longer time.

Mental health clinics are also available throughout Lambton County which includes sites at Petrolia, Forest, Walpole Island, and The Hub.

The clinics are not meant to be an emergency or crisis service.  In the case of a crisis situation, children and youth and their families can access the emergency department at Bluewater Health or contact the police as appropriate.
