Carly Roberts

Carly Roberts was born and raised in Sarnia. She has a Bachelor of Arts and Sciences degree in Psychology and Genetics from the University of Guelph, as well as a Bachelor of Social Work and a Master of Social Work from Lakehead University. She is currently working as a Clinical Social Worker at Rapids Family Health Team. She has an innate passion for educating, empowering, and engaging with today’s youth, and uses her work to raise awareness and advocate for topics that unfortunately continue to be stigmatized and misunderstood, such as mental health, trauma, and substance use.

As a new Board member this year, Carly hopes to be able to bring her front-line experiences in both crisis and clinical social work to the table, and to help foster and build positive working relationships and collaborations with other agencies supporting vulnerable youth in the area.
