The Administrative Assistant provides general administrative support by collaborating with various members of our team to ensure the smooth and efficient operations across the agency.
JOB DUTIES:
Organize and maintain both physical and electronic documents and databases, ensuring all confidential data paperwork is properly filed.
Assisting with the preparation of reports, presentations, and meeting materials.
Support and assist in innovating team-building activities, training, and wellness initiatives for all staff and students.
Other general administrative duties as needed.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Ideal candidates for this position would be enrolled in, or graduated from, a College or University program related to Business, Office Administration, or Human Resources.
ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS:
Belief in the potential of youth.
Ability to work independently, as well as part of a team.
Strong communication skills.
The ability to manage multiple and evolving tasks in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
TO BE ELIGIBLE, APPLICANTS MUST:
be between 15 and 30 years of age at the start of the employment,
be a Canadian citizen, permanent resident, or person to whom refugee protection has been conferred under the Immigration and Refugee Protection Act for the duration of the employment; and,
have a valid Social Insurance Number at the start of employment and be legally entitled to work in Canada in accordance with relevant provincial or territorial legislation and regulations.

SALARY: $18.20 per hour + 4% in lieu of vacation

SHIFT: 35 hours per week
CONTRACT START: May 5, 2025
CONTRACT DURATION: 8 Weeks through Canada Summer Jobs
CONTRACT CONDITIONS: This contract may be terminated with two weeks notice. Employment is conditional upon a satisfactory police record check (Ontario) dated within the last twelve (12) months from the date of the Agency’s request
