Dr. Robert Walker is the author of "God is Alive and Well” and is a retired school teacher of 40 years with his first school being in Sarnia. He was a School Principal in 5 schools across Ontario for 24 years and 12 years as a Principal in three K-12 schools in Alberta. While in the Orillia area he was also the Principal assigned to a Section 16 School for students in the judicial system. Dr. Walker holds a BA from the University of Western Ontario in Sociology, a M.Ed. from OISE at the University of Toronto in Sociology of Education and a Ph.D. from the University of Alberta specializing in Social Psychology. He is currently enrolled in a Master of Divinity program at Taylor Seminary in Edmonton, AB. After completing his Ph.D., he taught Introductory Sociology at Concordia University College and Social Psychology at the University of Alberta. Along with his extensive experience administering schools and his in-depth experience in dealing with special needs students, he also does have experience in business as CEO of a start-up natural gas business producing gasoline and as the Owner/Operator of a M&M Meat Shop franchise in Halifax. Dr. Walker has a sincere interest in addressing the issues of mental health in children and youth and over the past two years has been researching alternative approaches to promote health. Dr. Walker has been a member of the Board of Directors since February 2016.
