We were very excited to hear of the 2012 Kingdom Challenge Assignment. Two young students of St. Anne Catholic School, Lucas Cicchelli and Jack Soeder, participated in this project.  They were given $100.00 'seed money' and asked to do something with it in order to benefit their community.  Jack and Lucas had heard of St. Clair Child & Youth Services, and of the children's mental health services we provide to kids in the community, so thought this would be an organization worthwhile of their time and talents.

These creative and determined students decided to hold a raffle, and got busy going out and canvassing the community to ask businesses and individuals to donate prize items. They were very successful, gaining a wide variety of 'really cool stuff', and saw the project through to its successful completion.  In the spring of 2012, their initial investment of $100.00 had grown into a cheque (to St. Clair Child & Youth Services) in the amount of $1518.85.

Our deepest thanks to Lucas and Jack.....your donation will help a lot of youngsters here at St. Clair Child & Youth Services!
