Individual or Family Therapy

Individual and Family Therapy

Individual and Family Therapy services focus on reducing more severe emotional, social, behavioural and self-regulation problems. This can include both individual and or family sessions.

We believe to help a child we must work in partnership with caregivers.

Youth 12 years of age or older have the legal right to private confidential counselling, although we usually encourage involvement with the caregiver.

Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) Program

Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) is an effective strategy in treating a wide range of disorders. St. Clair Child & Youth Services offers four components of DBT: skills group that the youth and parent/guardian attend together, individual treatment, Middle Path parent groups, and a DBT consultation team.

Concurrent Disorders Program

The Concurrent Disorders Program is designed for young people up to 18 years of age who are experiencing a mental health issue and a substance use concern, and their families.

Early Years Mental Health Services

The Early Years Mental Health Services program supports families with children from birth to 6 years of age who are experiencing social, emotional and/or behavioural difficulties.
